For three months, scooters will take centre stage at the car museum. The exhibition marks the 80th anniversary of Vespa and the 100th anniversary of Ducati.
Italian scooter brands are, of course, iconic, but they also have a Belgian connection. In the 1950s, for instance, classic Vespas were converted into proper racing bikes in our country. So, whilst our country opted for motorcycles, Italy chose style and freedom. |
